Nick MacSeoin
I feel happy and fulfilled when I am helping people reach their potential.
From a business executive being recognized for their improved speaking skills to an aviation professional getting their dream job by speaking English clearly, my mission is to improve the lives of my clients.
I am uniquely positioned to do this. My life has always been internationally focused. As the child of a U.S. Air Force mother, I lived wherever the Air Force sent her, such as Europe.
I majored in French in college and lived in France for over a year. My love of languages led me to study Spanish and live and travel across Latin America.
I know what it's like to work in international environments. I spent ten years working on an international research program at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine and as a training professional at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Washington, DC.
In these roles, I saw the importance of excellent communication in developing and maintaining relationships with co-workers and stakeholders. How to avoid misunderstandings. How to listen intently. How to project confidence. Having lived abroad for many years, I intimately understand the struggles that come with speaking a foreign language with confidence, and being noticed for your knowledge and skills, not your accent.

Why work with me?
- I've been where you are, and I know how to get you to where you want to be.
- I break down complex concepts into understandable parts, so you can learn quickly, have fun, and retain what you learn.
- I will encourage and support you but also challenge you to reach your potential.
- However, I can only do so much. You must hold yourself accountable by practicing at home on a regular basis. It's like going to the gym. You have to practice regularly to see results.
